How families think about protection (example only)
Think about it
Who depends on your income, and what would they need if it stopped?
Myth
More coverage is always better.
Truth
How much protection a household needs depends on the people, the work benefits and the budget — those are personal decisions.
The idea
This lesson is an example only. It teaches the vocabulary — term and permanent life insurance, employer benefits, deductibles, waiting periods — and nothing else.
The useful step is a list of questions and one conversation, not a number chosen for you here. In this area in particular, the amount, product and coverage level should come from a licensed professional who knows your household.
Example
A household writes down what their jobs already provide, then takes that list to a licensed professional to ask what gap, if any, they would look at.
My takeaway
One sentence, saved privately to your plan. Optional.

What do you already have through work, and where would you check?
