Owner or steward?

Think about it

When money comes into your house, who decides where it goes — the moment, or you?

Myth

A plan means we can't enjoy our money.

Truth

A plan says where the money goes, so you decide on purpose instead of finding out later.

The idea

Being a steward just means you decide in advance. Money that arrives without a job tends to leave quietly, and the month is gone before anyone notices.

It starts small: a giving amount, a saving amount, and a spending plan you can actually keep.

Example

One household splits each payday into give, save and spend before the month starts. Their income did not change. They just stopped guessing where it went.

My takeaway

One sentence, saved privately to your plan. Optional.

Ask yourself

What would change if you decided where the money went before it arrived?

One move

Write our give and save amounts for this month
